I'm trying to follow what is listed here to have a console app connect

remotely to a repository using webdav:

Using the "Accessing a Repository via JCR Remoting based on WebDAV"

section.



I have a console app that is including the SPI library in my

classpath, but I am getting an exception when trying to connect.



Here is some simple code I am using:



Repository repository = JcrUtils.getRepository("http://localhost:4502/

crx/server");

SimpleCredentials creds = new SimpleCredentials("admin",

"admin".toCharArray());

Session session = repository.login(creds);



I get the following exception on the "getRepository" call:



javax.jcr.RepositoryException: Unable to access a repository with the

following settings:

    org.apache.jackrabbit.repository.uri: http://localhost:4502/crx/server

The following RepositoryFactory classes were consulted:

    org.apache.jackrabbit.commons.JndiRepositoryFactory: declined

    org.apache.jackrabbit.jcr2spi.Jcr2spiRepositoryFactory: declined

Perhaps the repository you are trying to access is not available at

the moment.



The documentation also says a sample app that shows you how to do this

exists at:



crx-quickstart/opt/examples/davex-client



However, the davex-client folder doesn't not exist for me.  Does

anyone know where that sample app exists?



Any ideas what my issues are?  I see a vague mention of "JCR Remoting

requires that the JCR WebDAV Server is configured and enabled in the

CRX instance", but I don't see any documentation on how to make sure

this is configured correctly and enabled.
