Upgrade from CQ3/CQ4
|
Lets you specify the URL of a Communiqué 3 or 4 instance from within a new AEM instance. The content and basic functionality will then be upgraded and imported into your new AEM installation. The upgrade of customized functionality cannot be guaranteed and must be analyzed individually.

| Background Jobs |
AEM enables you to perform a rollout as a background task (see Rollout in Managing Blueprints with the Control Center) that can be performed when the server has less load. The rollout task is split into jobs. Each job can be stopped, suspended and resumed. Background jobs can be scheduled to run only at certain times. |

Activate Tree

When you have entered, or updated, a considerable number of content pages - all of which are resident under the same root page - it can be easier to activate the entire tree in one action. You can also perform a Dry Run to emulate an activation and highlight which pages would be activated. |
